I love Royal Caribbean's choice of itinerary and ship activities which caters to a younger crowd. We are frequent visitors of Europe and this cruise have many destinations we have not been to in previous visits like Sicily, Malta and Palma de Mallorca. The views of Malta from afar are amazing. It's like arriving in a whole new world.

Jewel of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean's older and smaller ships. It is comfortable and nice but smaller in all areas like shopping, casino, dining, gym, etc. as compared to the other newer mega ships. The entertainment is just average but the 70s party is really a blast. Wifi is very fast though compared to other cruises but just as pricey. (Others are pricey and slow)

The food is good especially their specialty restaurants. We especially find Izumi great in food and service (Order their hot rock specialties)

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Cabin size is very comfortable. The balcony is bigger than most Balcony staterooms and has the advantage of more unobstructed views. It is very near the main staircase and elevators. Being in midship, you feel less ship movements. Great choice.
