Sail Date: Nov 2017

I enjoyed the many activities on the ship but found that there were simply not enough employees to take care of customers, especially in the dining rooms. It should not take 2 1/2 hours to eat 3 courses. I understand a leisurely meal but that is crazy. I also felt that if you had questions about anything you had to stand in a very long line. Additionally, the booking technology (shores excursions, dining, etc.) frequently didn't function properly, again requiring another line to stand in to fix it. Even before the cruise I had issues trying to book 5 guests for some of the specialty restaurants -- the system would only allow 6 guests in some venues and 5 in others. When I tried to call to resolve I was told I would have to fix it on the ship. Another long line. The ship itself was lovely, and my daughter enjoyed the slides, ropes course, and other recreational facilities, but I found the process of booking anything frustrating and the lack of proper staffing very off putting. Overall, for what we paid, it was fine but I would hesitate to book again unless I could perhaps book in the Haven where more service is provided and a dedicated dining venue exists with, I'm assuming, proper staffing.
