Let me start by saying I don't ever complain. I am easily pleased however ,This was only my second cruise with my family. We previously went on the Breakaway with Norwegian which was amazing. Many people told me to try Royal so we did. What a disappointment. I was on lines constantly. First to try and book shows and the ifly. Then with customer service 5 more times during the trip because they kept charging my account for drinks that we all had a package for. The service was horrible. You couldn't find anyone to get a drink unless you went to the bar yourself. Passengers on the boat got the norovirus and the crew did nothing but clean, which is good for the germs but bad for service because that was even less people tending to the guest. Plus when they cleaned they left everything wet and sticky which was gross cause your arms would stick to the tables. Many times I grabbed a railing for support and had a hand full of whatever chemicals they were cleaning with. I found it really annoying that we had to wash our hands constantly especially in the buffet where you were lucky to find a clean table. The rugs near the elevators were so stained and the chairs in music hall were musty and dirty. The pastry/ Starbucks store couches were all stained as well. My sheets were never changed or the pillow cases and the back of the bed sheets were full of dust as well as the vents on the closets floors. My kids enjoyed the I fly and activities but hated the lines. The gift was just okay. The Cabaret was not entertaining. The only show I enjoyed as well as my family was We will rock you. Buffet food was good, seating was horrible. The one free sit down meal we went to at the restaurant opposite silk , they forgot my appetizer then over cooked my steak. Waiter also hit my son in the head with his tray on accident. How I have no idea. Silverware was also dirty. I cancelled my reservations for the next two days and just went to the buffet. When we went to port in Florida we stayed on board with hopes that my kids would enjoy the flow rider and rock wall and other activities only to find out they were all closed until 5:30 which made absolutely no sense. There was only two working soda dispensers for the drink package in the Sorrentos pizza. The one in the seaplex was broken. If my kids wanted a drink they had to either go to the buffet or down to the 4th floor from 15 just to get soda. went for hot dogs and they were out of toppings at 6:00. Bartenders need to learn how to make drinks the same. Everyone I had made my Bloody Mary different. They don't garnish with olives or celery like it's suppose to be done. I couldn't even get a lime wedge in my corona. So much for the drink package that costs you a small fortune. And seriously who is buying all these watches. Whats the need to sell watches everyday. They need other merchandise for people who tell time off their cell phones. Signs up at the pools and jacuzzis that clearly state no food. I stood and watched 6 kids all get full ice cream cones and eat them in the jacuzzis and not one employee said a word. I could go on , but I think that's about enough to ruin anyone's vacation.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

The cabin was decent, Bed was uncomfortable, making the beds and turning the beds down was done in a timely fashion. We had clean towels and towel friends on our beds starting on the third night. I did notice that my sheets were never changed or my pillow cases. My door was left open after the attendant left on the Thursday night of my stay. Showers are small, there was a lot of dust in the upper part of the bed, were it meets the wall. The vent under the closet was dirty. I felt constantly congested while I was in the room.
