Due to it being the first trip of the South African season, it was really crowded and the embarkation was a nightmare. We were sent a message not to arrive before 10:30 due to the disembarkation. We arrived at 10:30 on the dot to long queues. We then waited. And waited. Eventually around 12:30, we were allowed into the terminal out of the hot sun and then queued some more. There were many queue jumpers who were so brazen in their cutting and no one was around to managed the madness. We eventually got on the boat at 14:30. A 4 HOUR embarkation process. Due to this, we only left port as the sun was setting and we were supposed to spend 2 of the four days on the Portuguese Island, but we only spent one. Service at dinner was also chaotic and they ran out of certain beverages in the dining room by the second night and they weren't replenished. The entertainment was fine, but I noticed that 2 of the 4 shows were repeats from the previous season. Overall, it was not the best experience.
