Always wanted to do a Melbourne Cup cruise but won't bother again as the crowds are horrendous. Ended up at the Melbourne casino where I could actually put a bet on, get a drink and even get to a toilet without a drama. As for the ship. The staff try hard but there are just not enough staff working the bars especially when it is busy.

I like the gaudiness of the ship while I know others don't, but it is something a little different than the cookie cutter ships they are churning out now that all look the same.

The food however was a major let down.
