We came into this cruise with high expectations. All we ended up getting was a beautiful over-packed ship where we couldn't even get a table in the windjammer(the buffet) to sit and eat buffet food. everything was a wait and packed so much i didn't even get to try the cool extras on the ship like the bumper cars, get a reservation for the quest, or the rip cord. We have tried carnival and princess before multiple times and the food ended up being worse along with things that were free with their ship even cost me money on the Anthem. the johnny rockets burgers were poor quality with grizzle in them, and i think the fries and hot dogs were the same as the free ones from the buffet. The strip steak loin from the main dining room was i think boiled? Any other main dinning room food was bland also mounded in a heap ontop of each other.Only way to get anything good was order items that they would charge you extra for.

We tried the Chops Grills(specialty steak house) but the window view we had was not of any water but a life boat out all the windows. Also they put it above a Music venue so all we heard was the thumping of a dance party the floor right below.

Either way everything we ate was in the middle of good and bad. nothing to be excited about.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Cabin was spacious and looked nice. the balcony was average size or slightly bigger with 2 chairs with foot rests and a small table. Bathroom was small but they always are. the shower was nice though and also had hot water.

Only issue we had was we were given the same towel, bedding, sheets, pillow cases, everyday just made up again.

This room was very close to the elevators but ended up being kind of nice to get out and do what we wanted. couldn't really hear the elevators or alot of people running around outside of it.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Lots of shopping.Mainly expensive watches and jewelry. just watch out for the pushy locals trying to push things on you or put things in your hand and staying all over you till they get a tip.
