We chose this cruise for the countries and ports: Greece, Israel, Cypress and Italy. While most excursions lived up to our expectation, a few lacked. Guides make the excursion! Always fill out the excursion 'grading' cards. This is the only way cruise lines can determine who to hire and who to not. The ship truly lived up to all the 'hype'. Never once did we feel crowded. As a matter of fact, many areas were nearly empty. Tea time was most enjoyable and we wish we weren't always too full to enjoy it more often! Dining was always enjoyable. One critique would be to offer more dinners 'themed' to the ports. Only one choice reflected the port/country. Every Viking employee catered to our needs. The staff was great. We didn't cruise for the entertainment, but it was very professional and enjoyable. Thank goodness the entertainers did not 'beg' for applause as we have encountered on other cruise lines!

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Location of cabin was perfect. Only 2 floors down or 3 floors up to all dining. Very close to the stairs which we prefer, but also near elevators. Great views from our veranda in every port.
