Second time doing panama canal. We like Norwegian and are Platinum members of Latitudes. Birthday celebration also. Problems with embarkation in Miami (computers were all down at check-in). Quick boarding once problem resolved. Very little contact regarding latitudes program and benefits, cruise next also represents latitudes program. (never advised of behind scenes tour opportunity) Food was very good in all specialty restaurants and dining rooms, buffet was too small and poorly laid out for access and serving, alternative buffets were much better experiences. Two very difficult sea days with high winds and surf. Problem with thrusters leaving Miami, a tire was entangled and divers fixed it in Cartagena. Never received onboard confirmation of CruiseNext as is done on other NCL ships, told we would get email 2-3 days after cruise (nothing so far). Account was charged. Observation lounge unused gem---very little activity up in the lounge. Dazzles was over used! Ship lounge areas were very cold all cruise. Panama canal was very enjoyable experience, lecturer was informative, but difficult to hear on balconies.
