We chose carnival for our 10th cruise anniversary. It was our romantic cruise and we were looking forward to it. It was supposed to be a Eastern Caribbean but hurricane Maria messed that up. We did a western Caribbean of Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize and Honduras. Rained most of the time and our tours were cancelled. Its the tropics so the rain was expected. The Dinner wait staff was excellent. There was lots of rust on our balcony and I took Photo's. There was lots of dust balls in the ventilation system in the buffet areas. We sat at a window one day, we looked looked up saw the the dust balls were very large. We moved to an area that did not have a vent over the table. 3 out of 4 hot tubs were cold, not what we expected from Carnival. Pot ship departure announcements were no really clear and well delivered. The Pizza area appeared to be very dis-oraganized, and at the back of the ship with stack gas/fumes. Not the pizzas we have had on Previous Carnival cruises. Bar-B Que area on the outside of the ship was open only on at-sea days. We had to ask to find out when it was open. Hand sanitizer was hard to find and sometimes not working. Usage was not encouraged as on previous cruises. Will consider other cruise lines for next voyage.
Cabin was adequate. Not bath robes provided. no chocolate like before. not bthroom amnities-ie razor.....
