Booked this cruise as we got a great deal on a Celebrity Suite and was looking forward to the WOW factor. It was the 12 night sailing from Rome to the Greek Islands and Israel in late October.

The check in was very smooth and being in a higher level suite we were met at portside and escorted to the Michaels club to have a drink. This started of the cruise very well. Got to our room Suite 1110 and was slightly disappointed as based on past cruises the SKY Suite is actually bigger. Seems like they have tried to cram a lot in a small space. We were on the HUMP so the balcony was much bigger but what a waste of space. We had one comfy lounger and a small round table with 2 chairs. So much wasted space...

Everything on the ship is ow an extra. We were bombarded with this package and that package by the staff to try and make the cruise better but I only see Celebrity getting any benefit as everything is so expensive. We had a drinks package which helped but if we wanted a better class of wine, beer or even a cocktail then another 7 bucks was added to the bill.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

Sky suites are better. This cabin is too enclosed, especially the bedroom.

Port Reviews

Katakolon (Olympia)

Been here before so just walked off the ship.

Athens (Piraeus)

Booked our own excursion when we got off the ship. Half the price we would have paid had we booked it on the ship.

Rhodes

Just got off the ship for a walk.

Haifa (Tel Aviv)

Had to get bus into town which was not free but we had no other choice as we were in an Industrial port.
