Cabin: Studio

This is my second time on the Epic, on the same itinerary but two years later. The first time on the Epic was so enjoyable that it hooked me on cruising, but I didn't really have anything to compare her with. Since then I've been on a few other ships and can make a more informed judgement. I still had a very good time, and the studio cabins with their lounge are very good. Epic has loads to do, a good variety of entertainment, and has lots of good food options. Her gym is unrivalled in space and equipment. The spa is a decent size but again doesn't give the views that other ships offer - although there is a small balcony with about six loungers looking over the stern and this is very nice if you can get one of them.

The downsides are that she can feel a little crowded at both the bars and in the buffet. There is also nowhere really suitable for just sitting and watching the sea, unless in a balcony or on the open deck loungers - other ships have more comfortable lounges for sea-viewing.

Cabin Review

Studio

Cabin T1

This is the second time I have had this cabin. It's close to the lounge without being disturbed by doors banging. It is also one of the cabins with no connecting door to another cabin, meaning it is more sound-proofed than most.

The studios are a great size - definitely cozy, but designed so that you don't feel cramped. And the lounge makes it worth going for a studio over an inside - the coffee is the best on the ship, and the free cookies and pastries are very convenient.
