We chose this cruise for the intinerary and were very pleased! The Regal Princess is just that, Regal. We were hesitant to book a larger ship but it actually worked out better for our tastes.

We booked the Transatlantic cruise starting in Copenhagen and landing in New York 14 days later. The ship is beautiful and well appointed, well layed out and lots of choices for entertainment daily and nightly.

The ship was failrly full and very busy during the day. We could always find a quiet spot with some looking. We did find that the elevators were very busy, but being mobile, we chose to use the stairs in most cases (worked well for some needed exercise anyways).

Balcony

Cabin BF

The balcony cabin was perfect for our needs. There was lots of storage for clothes, toiletries, etc. and the balcony, although smaller than some ships, was perfect for our needs.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We arrived in Copenhagen 3 days early and were glad we had a chance to really explore this beautiful city. Very expensive to dine. The First Mayfair Hotel was very tiny but comfortable and conveniently located.

Aarhus

A very quaint place. NIce place to visit. Took a free tour from on-line tour company.

Kristiansand

Nice town to visit. Walkable and quaint.

Greenock (Glasgow)

We took a bus tour which dropped us in Edinburgh for the day and took us back. It was well worth it!

Belfast

Very nice city with lots of architechture. Enjoyed the Titantic Museum.

Cobh (Cork)

Small Port town with small town feel. Enjoyed a walk through town in about 2 hours.

New York (Manhattan)

We arrived in New York a day early due to cancellation of two ports (Tropical Storm Jose). We stayed in New York for 4 nights and it was well worth the stay. Enjoyed the Ameritania Hotel near Times Square and Broadway. Very good location for walking tours.
