Took this cruise to celebrate our 50th anv. Very disappointed. First shock was the condition of our bed. Looked like something on skid row. They put plywood under it and then blankets to try and push up the middle. Told them we would pay for a new mattress and have it sent to the ship in Honolulu otherwise we would get off and fly home. They then managed to come up with fairly new mattress for our room. Sink had rust on it. Mold or mildew on grout in shower. Toilet had to be fixed, sink plugged and had to be fixed. Sewer smell for 10 days throughout the ship. They had a problem but didn't want to admit it. On 5 day return ship smelled better but outside on starboard deck smell of sewer really strong. People on deck 8 didn't have a toilet for 3 days. Were told to go down to deck 5 and use public toilets. Only place to get coffee was in Buffet area. 24 hrs coffee shop they make you pay for speciality coffee do not give our free regular coffee. Charge another $40.00 per day if you want to use the front of the ship area (Santuary). Try to two bit you to death. The crew is fantastic. Always there to help. Princess should be a shame to let this ship get into this condition. Lots of rusty areas. It is coming into drydock in Victoria on Dec. 2/17. Should have been done years ago. Not a good way to promote cruising with Princess. Princess didn't have the decency to answer our letter we sent 4 weeks ago. Had a great travel agent with Expedia. Too bad Princess doesn't give them a nice ship to recommend.

Bed horrible. Sunk in middle. After 2 nights of them trying to fix it with stuffing blankets and plywood under they finally came up with 2 fairly new ones after we told them we wanted them to order us new ones which we would pay for in Honolulu or we would get off the ship and fly home.
