We sailed on the new Explorer. We were very disappointed with our cabin on this new ship. Very small compared to the other Regent ships. (we have sailed on all the others). Couldn't move in the room. Closet too close to the beds, no walk around space. Very disappointing compared to the sister ships. Our cabin was like a much less comparable cruise line cabin. We like Regent because we have always had a walk in closet, a vanity for hair and makeup, space to move around and a much larger bathroom.

Explorer other than that was fine. Still need to get a few kinks out, but service is good and food is excellent. Should have stuck with the cabin sized on the other ships. Way too small and a big disappointment.

Food is always excellent on Regent cruises. New Asian restaurant is wonderful. Staff in the restaurants are top notch.
