Wow! My 7th or 8th cruise on Princess. Having recently completed one on Norwegian, I can report that they are not all the same. Upsells exist on every ship, but the Princess staff took "no" with grace. We enjoyed the Walker Black Duo in Explorer's Lounge. They spend ten months of the year on Princess cruise ships. They know how to please the three generations of cruiser. We had a guest DJ at Skywalker's - DJ Neville, He said he was only there for four weeks. The food was as good as could be expected for banquet food. We did not try any of the special restaurants. Shows were good. Comedian was good. Service all around was excellent. Horizon hasn't really changed much in the past decade. International Cafe consistently good and always open. Pizza and burgers up top were excellent. They've added aditional items at the burger/hotdog place. Try the North Carolina pulled pork! They showed the four World Series games - which impacted our dinner and evening plans. Super fast embarkation. Can't wait to sale again soon.

Small but adequate. Enrique, our steward, was excellent.

Port Reviews

Mazatlan

We walked around. Found a bar with an awesome ocean view and drank Pacificos and checked emails and made calls back home.

Cabo San Lucas

Best port by far. Take the glass bottom boat tour to see Los Arcos and other sights. We spent the afternoon at the beach. Had lunch and drinks at a popular place called "The Office"
