First transatlantic cruise was delightful, relaxing and turned out better than our expectations. We did not embark on the ship until the second port (Barcelona) and we were impressed how a member of the crew met with us, processed our papers, gave us a personal introductory presentation of the information needed for this cruise. We certainly felt somewhat special and welcome. Cruise was smooth sailing, food was great, attentive employees, and fine entertainment. The shows were good - the productions shows featured singers and dancers with great talent although it was difficult to understand the plot of these shows, the outside performers were excellent for the most part (one exception was a singer doing a Queen salute) especially the concert violinist. The staff was very attentive and mindful of the needs of the passengers. We met many fellow passengers with similar interests and experiences which enabled the time to just fly by. We had no complaints about our veranda cabin, the public area or the overall cleanliness of the ship. In short and we look forward to future sailings on this ship.
