Well, where do I start ?? I wished Id checked out this so called cruise ship before we booked it, cos believe me,, if Id known that is was a converted ferry then we would never have booked it!!

We arrived at the port with an open mind,, determined to enjoy the cruise we'd booked for our 30th anniversary,it was blinding obvious that the Island Esccape is deffinately at the lower if not lowest end of the cruise market.

We had booked a balcony cabin,, as it was a special anniversary, when we saw the cabin I nearly cried,, pokey,, smelly,, dirty,, filthy balcony and furniture,, we had to use the towels to sit on the seats as they were so dirty,, mind you the towels were battleship grey in colour and crunchy.

Cabin Review

rabbit hutch ,, supposedly golden deck,,, filthy cabin and balcony which had been added on as an after thought .. We didnt get any sleep when at sea,,, returned to ship last two days in the afternoon to get some sleep,, it was impossible at night when at sea,, the whole ship vibrates so much,,, at one point I thought my husband was having a fit in his sleep as the hutch as shaking so much!!
