Cabin: Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Went on a 10 night crew from Singapore to Perth with family. Had read some negative comments before trip but I can not understand why. We loved it all!!

Embarkment started at 10.45 am and was on board by 12.30pm. Very well organised. Had comfortable indoor air conditioned seating whilst waiting to move from checkpoint to checkpoint with water readily available.

Our cabin was ready by 1.00pm and although a VB cabin it had heaps of storage. Was able to comfortable unpack our 50 kilos of luggage and store cases in wardrobe. King size bed was very comfortable and cabin was cleaned within minutes of leaving it. Our lovely attendant always had a beautiful towel animal waiting for us and even a monkey hanging of a coat hanger. Cabin was dead quiet which was a welcome surprise.

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin VB

Cabin was clean and re-cleaned several times a day. Every time we returned to room it would have been cleaned again. Every mirror and cupboard opened allowing ample storage room. Room was lovely and dark and quiet was even able to nap during the day without being disturbed.

Was never asked to tip stateroom attendant but did as he was amazing. Left beautiful towel animals every day.

Port Reviews

Singapore

We spent two night in Singapore prior to cruise. Wasn't long enough. Visited Universal Studios on Sentosa Island and did the Garden by the Bay Tour. This is not to be missed breathtakingly beautiful. Although the Garden by the Bay show is nightly and free Singapore has become extremely expensive. Prices you see are all pre VAT and GST and bills are generally 22% more than you think.

Phuket

Phi Phi Island Snorkelling Tour. Wow!! So well organised. Large ferries tendered us to and from ship continually going back and fourth. No waiting. On board a speed boat with about 30 people for an hour to island with cold drinks and fresh fruit provided. Snorkelled at two different spots and had a buffet lunch at a resort which was included in price with a soft drink each. Taken to explore an island where the tsunami had hit and had time to explore and swim in the most beautiful waters I've ever seen. Tour guides were awesome. They do ask for tips via a tip bucket at end so bring some change. Happily tipped them as they were very accommodating.
