We enjoy taking a Transatlantic almost every year, and try to do one on which we can join the many friends we have made over the years of cruising with Celebrity. After so many years on ships from the Mercury and Galaxy, through the M class and earlier S class ships, this was our first time on the Reflection.

The crew is world class! Very attentive to the passengers needs, very friendly, and quite capable. Captain Demetrios Kafetzis is so special! His character and presence pervades the entire vessel.

Our dining was in Blu, and it was impeccable. Every meal a delight, with such personalized service.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We enjoy staying at the Hotel San Giorgio, for its comfor, charm, wonderful breakfast, and location on the waterfront.

We wander the downtown area shopping and snacking, and enjoy the sights.

Its a great start toa cruise vacation.

Barcelona

We've been here many times, even spent a week here one time. Unfortunately this cruise brought us into town on Sunday, and almost everything was closed

Cartagena (Spain)

Always enjoy this port. Very pretty, good sightseeing and shopping.

Malaga

We had planned an excursion to the Alhambra, but mobility issues prevented our participation.

So we browsed the downtown, and will have to return once more to cover unfinished business.

Tenerife

Our farewell to Europe for the year....

Always enjoy this little piece of Spain....

Charming, not too cosmopolitan, good shopping, pleasant place to sit and have a coffee...
