On day prior to departure. We flew from Minneapolis to SeaTac and tookLink or light rail from SeaTac to downtown Seattle is only $1 For Seniors. There are golf carts from gate to station , call 206-396-5275 and we had informative passengers pointing out sights including both stadiums along the route,

It was hot on our Arrival on 9/28. We got off at Westlake Station. Be careful as some of Seattle in transition and under construction. Stayed at LaQuinta, 2224 8th ave, 206-624-6820. had very comfortable bed and shuttle to pier for $10. . It Is within Walking distance To Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens. Call First . closed Due to construction and we couldn't reserve on next day.but was still an awesome sight. We did Happy hour from 4-6 at 5 point Cafe, an Historic dive bar with good burger. I think only take cash.

In Astoria, we took tro!lety For $2 to end of riverwalk to see Sealions. The fish canneries and warehouses are being converted. We did Loop as crowded. Other shops had unique items.
