We were excited to try this new ship but overall a bit disappointed. We miss the glass elevators in the atrium and felt like the dining rooms section you off too much from other guests. The Chef's Table was well worth the extra money, but we walked out of Cucina due to poor service and undercooked chicken. Jiji was also good. The casino bar staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and Schwartz was awesome. Our particular cruise left several hours late, why is unknown, which created us being late to first port and casino's etc could not open due to this. In addition, we had to beat a storm back and docked several hours earlier than was scheduled, again creating early closures on our last night. I believe they should have offered passengers compensation for nearly a full day lost of our 8 night cruise.

Cabin Review

Cloud 9 Spa Balcony

Cabin 8T

For the extra cost, the room felt small and our balcony could be seen by the rooms above us on floor 14, no privacy. It was quiet, which was good, but we felt a bit "attacked" to buy spa services every time we left or returned.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Carlos, our tour guide, was funny and kept it interesting. Could have done without the Amber Museum

Miami

Little Havana and Winwood were fun and interesting

La Romana (Casa de Campo)

An ugly port overall and felt very unsafe
