My husband and I took a 4 night Bahamas / Coco Cay trip On Oct 30th 2017 to get some must needed relief from stress. Embarkation when extremely smooth, even though my passport expired the month before. A birth certificate and DL was all that was needed and I was able to enjoy every port. The ship is very small and I missed having a solarium and multiple niches to sit in. Also missed having a sports bar but what was there was pleasant. The pool area was large enough for the full ship but I think it may have seemed that way because it was so late in the year and the water was very cold so not crowded.

We only did the first night in the dining room, which was delicious - prime rib. We did Johnny Rockets once - very good food and entertaining. We originally booked dinner for 6pm and being new Diamond members, we found out dining at that time really didn't fit in with all the Diamond perks you get. We will have to reserve late dining on the next cruise. The Diamond perks were 3 free drinks (from a select menu of liquors) per night from 5pm to 8:30pm. Plus, free appetizer and drinks (from the same liquor menu) from 5 to 8pm every night at the Viking Crown Lounge. They do a great job of making sure you are Diamond and above accessing this area. We enjoyed the food, drinks and view here immensely. I would highly recommend it for anyone at this level of membership.

Our room was 5088 and it was great. It had a good size window with an unobstructed ocean view. The bed was firm by comfortable. There was plenty of storage space for all our items. I hate that I can't remember our room attendant's name but he was excellent. Our room was always clean and well supplied. Had a couple of nights of cute towel animals also.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F2

The cabin was an ocean view room with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The window was one of the larger ocean view rooms. The room was very clean and the room attendant was fantastic. There was plenty of storage for all our things. There is a room safe in the closet. The bed was firm but comfortable. The flat screen TV is extremely small but was fine for the time we used it. There is not a channel where you can view room charges on this ship. My only down for this room is that there was only one outlet at the vanity area. We made do but would have liked to have more options. The shower had great water pressure and there were two shelves extending from the mirror that held quite a bit of bathroom stuff, one for me and one for my husband. There was plenty of room in the shower (shelves) for the soap, hair items, and razors. It had a curtain close and not one of those bubble doors but I did not experience the curtain trying to cling to me as I showered, which I have had happen before. This room was about 5 steps from the elevator lobby area and noise was not an issue. It was a great location and we loved not having to walk the hallways to get to our room.
