This was our dream cruise. We have always wanted to go to Hawaii as we have never been there. So when we saw this cruise with Carnival, we jump at it two years in advance! Everything about this cruise was perfect. We booked everything through Carnival, to include airline tickets and transport from the airport to the port of long beach. Everything, and I mean everything was perfect! We were on the ship once we arrived the port of Long beach within 30 minutes. The port personal were very professional and friendly and quickly showed us the way to the beautiful Carnival Miracle. This is the first time we have had the luck on being on a Spirit class Carnival Ship. We have sailed on the Carnival Dream, Triumph and Fantasy and we really loved the Carnival Miracle. They layout was easy to understand, and everything was easy to find. The thing we noticed the most was how caring and friendly the crew was. From the cruise directly, Lee, to the bartenders, the folks in lido deck and out stateroom staff. All Perfect, always happy smiles and wonderful service. The ports of call we perfect, we got to visit 4 different islands of Hawaii (5 ports) and one port in Mexico (Ensenada). ALL Hawaiian ports were amazing. We did excursions on ALL ports. The tour guides we had on each excursions were the best, all very knowledgeable of their island and what they were showing us. I give the highest marks I can for ALL excursions, which were also booked through Carnival. On Maui, we went to the mountain top, WOW, what a view. We visited Honolulu with the city tour, perfect tour and we learned a lot about this beautiful city. On our third port, Kauai, we went to the most amazing canyon, although not the Grand Canyon, beautiful in its own right. One to the big island with a port of call in Kona, we took a coffee tour, best coffee ever. Final stop was Hilo, another mountain top tour to almost 14000 feet up! The best view of the sky I have ever had, and lots of telescopes, even got to go inside one. 4 sea days and back to the mainland for a quick stop in Mexico, we did the beer and taco tour...WOW, great tasking beer, and Mexican tacos, taco bell has been lying to us all these years...LOL. After 15 days, back to the port of Long beach, with yet another perfect nearly 15 minutes off the ship and transportation back to LAX. This was the BEST carnival cruise we have ever been on. Some might say carnival is not the best line to pick, but in our opinion, you can't go wrong with Carnival Cruise line for ANY cruise you might want to try. We love Carnival and we loved this cruise even better. THANK YOU FOR A CRUISE of a life time!

Cabin Review

Vista Suite

Cabin VS

Can you say PERFECT? When we first walked into this beautiful cabin, we were amazed! It had two separate rooms, bedroom and living room, with huge bathroom and vanity area. But the best part by far was the wrap around balcony! The balcony was the same square footage as the cabin. The balcony was so large, there were 3 lounge chairs, 3 chairs, and 3 tables and still plenty of room to move around. Plus, being on the back of the ship on the starboard corner, the sound of the wake of the ship was amazing...loved that sound of the rushing water! Out room steward was the best. All had out buckets of ice filled twice a day, always had our room ready morning and night, and every request we had was taken care of. One week into the cruise our stateroom refrigerator decided to die, we let our room steward know about the issue, and he had a new refrigerator in the room with 3 hours! We were also missing some items were ordered for the room for day one of the cruise, we let the room steward know, and he had this issue fixed within the day. The bath room was awesome, had a Jacuzzi tub and dual sinks, very nice. In the future, when we sail on this class ship again, we will definitely get a Vista Suite again.
