We went on this cruise because we were invited by friends. They had been on several Transatlantic cruises so we decided to join them. This year the weather has played havoc in the Atlantic and Caribbean. As a result we had some rocky weather. Through no fault of NCL there were a couple of storms still in the Atlantic which made the waves high (at one point there were 25 ft waves). However, the ship weathered them well and the Captain did a great job in making the ride smooth. We ate at the specialty restaurants several times. My favorite was Le Bistro, but both Moderna and Cagney's was also enjoyable.

We were in one of the Spa rooms that gave us access to the Thalassotherapy Pool in the ships spa. With the weather starting out cool it was a little crowded in that area, but as the cruise went on the number of people in that area thinned out and it was more enjoyable.

We loved both the high ropes course and the slides that were available for use as the days warmed up.

Our cabin steward did a great job of assisting us with everything that we needed. He took extra effort to accommodate us being in and out of the room often.
