We chose this cruise to avoid having to fly to Florida to embark. The staff was fantastic, our steward was great. Our stateroom immaculate and sooo nice. We loved it. The food was okay--looked better than it tasted. Overall, fairly average. Not bad, just not anything amazing. We were also VERY put off by the amount of area devoted to smokers. Half of the pool deck was a smoking area which is WAY too much. There were too many areas where smoking was allowed. Norwegian has to understand that non-smokers out number smokers, and most of us are extremely offended by second hand smoke. We could not enjoy the casino at all; it was disgusting and foggy with smoke. Very disappointing that one walk through left our clothes reeking of smoke. I wish Norwegian would consider a much more segregated area for smokers. Or a completely non-smoking pool deck or non-smoking casino?
