We so enjoyed this cruise and chose it because LAX is an hour away from PHX. Chance to visit Monterey Bay Aquarium and to visit a client in Sausalito were major reasons we chose this cruise. Thought Princess did a great job for the price. Total for us: $2308. Free Gratuities. Free Balcony Upgrade. $550 credit (Cru-Con, Princess, Military). Where else can you enjoy 21 meals (and yes, maybe food isn't as great as it used to be, but over 12,000 meals are prepared daily; plus 24/7 in International Cafe), 7 days in a cabin that is freshened 2X daily, chocolates on your pillow, live entertainment all over the ship, recent movies, fun games, fabulous interview with Lainie Kazan and more. And, of course, transportation from LA to San Fran to Monterey to San Diego to Ensenada to LA. We also paid far more for glasses of wine and mixed drinks and meals in Phoenix, San Fran and San Diego. Also Princess crew was courteous and greeted us throughout the ship. Think about this, too. Crew members work 10-12 hours per day, 7 days a week for 7-9 months. Embarkation and Debarkation were very organized and went smoothly. Only negative was muster drill. We were standing in front of Crown Grill for about 30 minutes It was hot and stuffy. One passenger fainted. Other than that, we are pleased with Princess and have 3 more Princess cruises coming up.

Lily refreshed our cabin 2X daily and kept it spotless. Always delivered fresh ice, clean glasses, emptied garbage and made our bed to perfection.
