We always arrive a day early and spent a fabulous day in Fort Lauderdale on the beach exploring the multitude of bars and restaurants (I'd highly recommend staying right on the beach)

As far as the cruise, first off let me say this the ship herself is in immaculate condition and very well laid out. We sail on the Allure of the Seas last month so we were very familiar with the layout and immediately felt "at home".

I'm going to try to be as fair and honest as possible, so people can actually benefit from the this review!

Cabin Review

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

As far as the room goes it was super clean, the balcony was excellent (lots of room for the 2 chairs, a small table and 2 loungers). There is PLENTY of storage in this cabin (more than you would ever need). I do however, have 2 criticisms about this room:

1. No walk in closet: We primarily book the Jr Suite for the walk in closet, we just love that you have an area specifically for your clothes and can fold/hang shirts on shelves and are totally out of the way. This grand suite the shelves inside the closet which you have to duck under the shelf on the top to gain access to if you are 6' or taller. I smacked my head on the top shelf no less than 3 times (doh!) which became annoying and made me long for the walk in closet!

2. The room is divided into 2 rooms, a TV room with a couch and a bar area and a bedroom with vanity area. My wife loved the vanity area to get ready for dinner in the evenings, I however thought that the room with the TV and bar area was too small to actually entertain any visitors, making the bar area virtually nothing more than another table to lay our sea passes/wow bands, and various other 'Pocket dump' items on.

In summary this cabin had an amazing bathroom with double sinks and nice sized shower/tub, an amazing balcony, VERY comfortable bedroom area with and excellent vanity that even came with a jewelry box and overall had plenty of space for the 2 of us. the big turnoff (for me) was the lack of the walk in closet!
