arrived San Fran 2 days before cruise used a uber to get to terminal best embarkation i have ever experienced all the staff looked liked they where retired and some had been on the cruise the week before very well organized, got on ship very quickly and went to cabin where the luggage was waiting never had that before on any other cruise i have done, cabin was small but OK for the 3 of us we had a inside with bunks i am a large bloke and fitted OK in the shower which looks tiny, we quickly went for a explore to find the layout of the ship. The buffet had 2 sides to it both serving the same things they would shut one side at the time to change from breakfast to dinner etc food was fine and the service by the waiters was spot on when you wanted coffee orange juice etc the omelette station you had to tell them what you wanted in it and they would give you a ticket which you would give to a waiter he would then fetch you it when it was ready. We got the dine at anytime sitting for dinner and had to wait a couple times with a pager to get a table the first night was the worse after that not 2 bad the pizza was excellent as was the burgers etc next to the pool, we went to the quiz most days and the entertainment most night and watched a movie under the stars most days. Ports of calls we did our own thing as i never book a ships tour as i prefer to do it myself and you save a fortune main example L A tour 8 hours long, price i paid 75 dollars each this was the full tour inc Hollywood sign Chinese theater downtown L A Beverley hills Venice beach the ship one was 65 dollars and was half as long the one in Mexico ships price 40 dollars each my price 17 dollars each the shuttle driver that takes you into town for 3 dollars sells them to you. In all a brilliant cruise with excellent service ship was showing signs of age but not to bad
