We wanted a quick overview of Central America, and my husband has wanted go go through the Canal for years. It was spectacular. Yes, it was also spectacularly hot and humid, but that is why we travel: to experience new situations, and to meet new people.

Food was fine, activities were the usual. Room steward was great. Entertainment was just fine, and the comedian was really funny.

We did have a glitch with the first waiter at our table. We were placed at a table with someone perhaps just learning his trade, and he was in way over his head. After a few days of cold food, we decided to throw him a life preserver and change tables. Our second waiter and table were stellar, and we hope the first gent improves with an easier schedule and a bit more experience.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Just fine. The balcony is the thing for the canal transit!
