We picked this cruise because of the ports of call and I love the M class ships size. I have read other reviews that say the ship is dated not sure I understand we found the ship beautiful in excellent almost new condition. For the first time in years, we took just an oceanview stateroom on deck three and loved it. We do like Aqua class but received a great group rate so thought why not try it and with the savings it paid for our hotel room in Venice at a 5-star hotel. We arrived at the Marco Polo airport in Venice at 9:00 am and used Blitz VIP Service which met us at the gate picked up our luggage and we were led to the front of the line bypassing 300-400 people through customs and immigration to a private car. We were at the cruise port by 10:00 I was a little disappointed being Elite they gave us boarding cards and ours was number 4 and they were boarding 1 and 2. This is the first time I have seen this I expected priority boarding and do not feel being Elite means much anymore on Celebrity we boarded early anyway because I went ahead and walked on without waiting for our number to be called we were tired and hungry.

We had breakfast and lunch every day at the Oceanview Cafe on deck 10 we found the selection and service to be very good everything was fresh and more than enough selections to please my wife and me who are very picky. I thought my wife would be disappointed with open seating in the San Marco Restaurant but wow the food and service were excellent every night. We sat at table 152 close to the entrance it almost felt like a private dining area our waiter Sukarta was the best we have ever had very friendly and professional. The bar service was good to excellent favorite was the Mast bar, the Martini Bar was excellent but for some strange reason, they would play very loud what they called "retro" music which chased us away most nights it was terrible. The entertainment at the pool and the bars were very good the shows were just fair at best. I loved Athens best my wife loved Venice best and both of us did not care much for Mykonos. Santorini, of course, was the most beautiful and wish we had more time in Corfu. Our best tour was in Katakolon with Kostas Theodorakopoulos of Visit Katakolon tours. Any of you who love to Cruise must visit Venice and Athens in your lifetime and no better way than with Celebrity.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 6

Cabin 06

First time in years we did not have a balcony cabin and we did not miss it. We just do not spend much time in our cabin anymore. We enjoyed the ocean view cabin and the price was the reason we took it. Location of our cabin we loved will take the same cabin again.
