We chose this cruise as it departed from Málaga Port.

We had received our luggage tags from our agent with our documents a week prior to the cruise so they had already been filled in - with the visa and health forms - so it was just a matter of dropping the luggage off to the staff. This was very quick and easy.

Embarkation process in the terminal could have been more efficient - there were numerous staffed desks but it took approx. 1 hour queuing to get through the lines to the desks !

Cabin Review

Cabin Exterior with Balcony

Cabin was a reasonable size with an exterior balcony (one small table and 2 chairs).

The shower room was adequate in size - good supply of hot water and clean towels. Shower and shampoo gel supplied in unit on wall of shower and one small bar of soap at sink. Hairdryer was standard "hotel" type that would never dry or style long hair but fine for short hair. - Only issue experienced was with shower curtain which kept sticking to skin when in shower..but then again I prefer a glass/perspex door instead of a curtain so..).

Plenty of wardrobe and storage space - safety deposit box (in wardrobe) was large enough to fit a 15cm laptop and camera etc. (Maintenance note: the door hinges would need to be tightened up and oiled ..as they and the drawers were fairly noisy to open and close). There were two lifejackets in wardrobe.

The main area had a good size desk (with extra storage drawers) and a TV with a couple of stations showing International news as well as cinema channels and general TV series in English/Spanish - There were also internal ship info channels with details of on-board activities available and ship location tracker. Certainly enough choice for the little time spent in cabin on a daily basis.

Bed was made into a double (option for twin layout) and was very comfortable. The linen was fresh, clean and lovely to sleep on. Slightly awkward to get around bed to balcony but manageable. Curtains were a good weight with blackout blinds so no issue with light coming in.

There is dual air-con/heating individually controlled but weather was great so did not need to use at all.

Cabin staff were extremely polite and efficient.
