Sailed on Oct 22nd after the hurricane changed the itinerary. Embarkation was slow due to the staff having to walk to the one working printer to make sail passes, Spent 20 minutes at the counter for a party of 2 with priority boarding. Really had no desire to go back to Nassau, but it was part of the new cruise itinerary. Luckily Atlantis was there and we spent the day being pampered by caring staff making the stop bearable. Disembarking was quick due to multiple exit points. Embarking was a pain due to the limited staff on the island to handle the large crowd of people. People were cleared 2 at a time. Next off to the private island where I wanted rest and relaxation. I paid a young man to set up 2 chairs and when I entered the water I was told I had to go to the other side of the island. Why did they not tell me first swimming was only on one side of the island, then when I got there it was a very small area for the volume of people on the ship. I do give props to the crew that hauled everything onto the island and back off to feed us.The shop people were very vocal in trying to get you to buy from them even when you say no they persist. Last was Jamaica, we used a private guide and had a marvelous time with a very attentive guide. Luckily the embarkation process was much better due to more staff available on the island .My largest complaint was the lack of cleanliness on the ship and the attitude of the crew. They responded to nothing quickly other than medical. Ashtrays were on fire due to the lack of staff emptying them, but on the last morning of the cruise staff was everywhere wiping down stuff and emptying ashtrays that had been filled for days. Tables sat dirty for 20-30 minutes around me while I tried to eat my meal. Only when it was time to shut down did the staff actually start to clean up around me while they made it perfectly clear it was closing time. If there is anyone out there that can tell me what the beef"loin" slab that they served was, I sure would appreciate it. Personally I will not cruise with this ship again!
Typical for a ship this size pacing them in like sardines. Standard closet with extra storage shelves. Mini fridge and three strip outlet on the desk were provided. Cabin included 2 side chairs and a table rather than a couch. Balcony did have a small bistro table with 2 chairs to enjoy coffee out on the balcony.
Clean and well maintained. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.
Have been here before, took a taxi to Atlantis to receive some pampering
Pushy vendors, no information from staff on the island.
