This was our first transatlantic cruise it will not be our last. My husband and I embarked in Copenhagen which was a quick and smooth process and were quickly settled in our forward facing ocean view cabin 10704. The bed being sidewise on which allowed for a window seat which made this a very spacious cabin. The circular window was large and we had an amazing view over the bow. We booked a speciality dining package and dined at le bistro on escargot, shrimp and pofiterols ( by far our favourite ) tepenaki, cagneys, ocean blue. The main restaurants had slow service around 2 hours for 3 courses but the food was fine, I found the buffet food tasty but on occasions cold. Burn the floor was great and we enjoyed wine lovers the musical (extra charge).all staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful and the service in the speciality restaurants was superb. The waterfront area was a fantastic place to sit especially as we did not book a balcony cabin which we really didn't need due to the limited stops and the average weather we easily found a seat there on the sundeck or one of the bars and enjoyed the view with a drink or two most evenings. We took an NCL excursion in the Azores which packed in the geezers, viewpoints, tea plantation we definitely want to go back to see this island in more detail. Bermuda was very windy and expensive but we were prepared for that, a one course lunch and 2 alcoholic drinks each came to 100 usd. I recommend the frog and onion pub in the Royal dockyards great fish sandwich and shrimp chopped salad and they have their own brewery they brew 5 types of beer the porter was by far my husbands favourite after the limited uk beer types on board the ship. All in all a great trip, good value for money and a wonderful experience, thoroughly recommended.
Large forward facing cabin, circular window with great view. A spacious cabin with added benefit of a window seat which was great for sitting watching the view with a glass of wine. Bathroom was compact but well done. We have had much smaller cabins and really couldn't fault it.
