Sail Date: Oct 2017
Cabin: Grand Suite

On checking it turns out that this was our 15th Royal Caribbean cruise. Unfortunately it is also our worst.

We upgraded to a suite for the first time ever for a special birthday but unfortunately although we had lots of space this was the noisest cabin we've ever had so we weren't able to enjoy it that much. The band on the pool deck above was so loud it was actually uncomfortable to spend time in the cabin and then we had to put up with chairs being dragged and people running around on the deck until the early hours of the morning most nights.

Generally the ship was ok if a bit dated and as usual the on-board staff were excellent which is the main reason we've stuck with RCI so much. Itinery was quite good though the list of official tours was quite limited and quite expensive so we booked an independent tour using Niki's Olympic Tours which was much more exclusive and excellent value.

Noisy - avoid this cabin due to noise from the deck above.
