Sail Date: Oct 2017
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

We were supposed to be spending this late October week in a condo in St Croix, but the hurricanes killed that. So we booked the Escape mostly because it had the sail date from FL, the itinerary we liked and because we had liked NCL Epic quite a lot in March 2017.

We have good time and a coupe of adventures but we should have explored more options.

First the good points:

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BF

We got a free upgrade to a better balcony with a larger, triangular balcony on the edge of the bump out facing forward. It was a great room and expansive balcony view. There was plenty of storage and a comfortable bed.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Expensive, over rated and something was terribly wrong with the septic system. (The beach water was brown, cloudy and smelled!)

Seriously, if this is the future of private islands they can keep it. I'll take the little islands with the cheesy local crafts & t shirt stalls, nice sand & water, a cheap buffet and a bar that accepts my ship drink package over this any day.
