We combined this cruise with its previous sailing from Vancouver through the Bering Sea. Our concierge cabin was reserved for both cruises, which made embarkation day easy in Tokyo/Yokohama. The ship is showing its age but is fine. With ports nearly daily there were few onboard activities. We appreciated the local entertainers that Celebrity brought onboard. Service ranged from poor to average with one of two exceptions. Food quality was hit and miss; mostly the latter. There was no problem getting a table for two in the main dining room; however, they were less than 4" apart (we measured). The itinerary was definitely the best part albeit most Celebrity excursions are strenuous with lots of stairs and/or walking. Some interesting places to visit are Osaka, Kochi, Nagasaki (try the Cassata cake originally introduced by the Portuguese merchants) and the Tachineputa Museum in Goshogawara. This museum has exhibits related to the Tachineputa Festival, which is held every August, including three-story high paper floats, a production studio and a gallery with works created by artists connected. Best photo of Mt Fuji: from the top deck of the ship. Disembarkation and transport to Narita was seamless.

Nagasaki

This is a great port for self touring; the ship docks practically in town.
