We have taken this same cruise before and love the convenience of it for us. We like the fact that for us, there is no flying involved. There is nothing like sailing under the Golden Gate bridge and the sailaway party was Fantastic! The food has improved since the last time we did this cruise and the service was Top notch. We really liked the bed....wish we could take it home with us. As some others stated, The Grand Princess is getting a little long in the tooth but we have sailed on her a few times before and knew what to expect. We enjoyed the ports of call. I liked the fact that we stayed later in some ports so you have more time to sightsee. Would really like it if Princess would go north from SanFrancisco to the northwest coastline and back. That would be a great 7 day cruise to hope for.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B4

Love the fact that our balcony faced the aft of the ship. It was never windy and had a great view. Our balcony is deeper than the ones on the sides of the ship. One thing to note: this cabin is directly above the Vista Lounge so for a couple of hours each afternoon and evening( when there is a show there) you will be exposed to loud noise. Not a problem for us as we were at dinner during the late show.
