I chose carnival conquest due to previous exceptional service and experience.

This we did not find on Conquest as it came out of Dry Dock not ready to sail. First the ship was three hrs late arriving witch slowed and confused the embarkation process.Second the ship had welding tanks secured to the bulkhead on the sports deck pallets of what appeared to be rolls of carpet on deck. Missing carpet runners being installed during our cruise. The ship itself was dirty by any carnival standard. See cabin review for the apalling condition of the balcony.

The Captain and Crew did what they could to make a bad situation better even buying everyone a glass of wine at dinner one night. The onboard staff were very helpful but Carnival post cruise service were insulting offering 100 Dollar onboard credit on a future cruise witch I am not impressed with.

Cabin Review

Premium Balcony

Cabin 9B

The cabin itself was wonderful clean ,roomy , plenty of closet and storage space. Now the problem comes in with the balcony. Lets start with match head to Quarter sized RUST chips all over the deck , a hole in the overhead bulkhead that I could have put my hand through , foot prints on the table . and just a dirty appearance.

The crew did what they could to clean and repair the problems their efforts definitely appreciated. But we still were unable to use the balcony due to repairs being made or at minimum had to where shoes to prevent cutting feet on rust chips.
