Embarkation was the fastest I have ever experienced. This is my 6th cruise.

I stayed in 8134 an obstructed view balcony room. MSC upgraded my room after their price went down. Note they were only willing to do so because I booked directly through MSC. My other friends and family that booked through a third party were not allowed to upgrade. My room was great, spacious and lots of room for everything. When I arrived it was very dusty and look like it had not been thoroughly cleaned. I asked my cabin steward to please detail the room that night. When I came back from dinner it was spotless and all the nooks and crannies were cleaned and dusted. Even smelled fresher.

However my mother staying in ocean view 8161 did not have the same luck we asked her steward to please sanitize the bathroom as it smelled disgusting from the previous guests and nothing. She asked every day and was ignored. This is her first time cruising and she did not want to make a big deal out it so she let it be.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We took a tour around the city and then to seven Mile beach . Literally my favorite place. the calmest bluest water ever. We went to the free side and rented chairs and umbrellas. The sand was perfect , soft, no rocks. Perfection.

Costa Maya

Not my fave place - We took the 3 dollar trolly thing into town to the beach which was horrible. Way too many rocks and the hundreds of vendors coming up to my table kept my uneasy and not able to just chill out. If I came back here I would opt for something different.

Nassau

I love Bahamas. We took car service to Atlantis to the aquarium and it was wonderful walking around the resort. Then we went to Junkanoo beach to the Fish Fry - its a little blue shack all the way at the end of the beach.
