Sail Date: Oct 2017
Cabin: Mid-Ship Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window

The Getaway was a nice modern ship with good staterooms and nice restaurants. The decor was pleasant - brown and tans with blue accents - not too gaudy. The cabins were well designed with lots of storage and large bathrooms. The crew was friendly. I used the medical center and was surprised at how well it was designed and staffed with excellent doctors and nurses. With 4200 passengers on board - the restaurants and shows sometimes had lines and were sometimes difficult to get into. The specialty restaurant's food was good. The buffet food was slightly better than average - with long lines at times. It was often cold to warm at best. The Atrium was busy and often noisy and crowded. Music was loud on ship. The internet service was slow - and the internet area - next to the Atrium was loud and noisy. The card rooms and the library were small. The entertainment was excellent!!
