My mother and I just came back from our first ever cruise of any kind and decided on a Scenic River cruise because it was all inclusive and such a beautiful way to travel.
We had an absolutely amazing trip! Wonderful excursions (Cesky Kromluv was a favourite for us both), a private concert in Vienna, the best food onboard that we are still missing after returning home. The staff and crew on the Scenic Amber were just superb and ran everything incredibly efficiently and without incident. We had a wonderful cruise director who gave the port talks each night were we learned about up coming activities for the next day.
They made you feel like one of the family and returning back to the ship every night really did feel (for the 7 days on board) like we were returning home.
Cabin Review
Our cabin was the royal balcony suite and it was spectacular! very spacious and the larger living area was nice to spend time and we were able to eat at the table in it when we had room service. Having a bathtub as well as a shower was also a great bonus.
