We have been cruising for almost 10 years, but this was our first time on Celebrity. We chose this particular cruise for the chance of some sun late in the year, and also based on good reviews for the ship. However, we were disappointed.

EMBARKATION/DISEMBARKATION : Southampton, quick and easy, very efficient.

SHIP : Clean, modern, and generally well maintained. However, we found it extremely difficult to find two seats together anywhere. The areas around the two pools were always heaving, the sun beds on the other decks were full, and the seats within the most of the other public areas were always occupied. After trawling around the ship many times, we usually ended up on the top 'Solstice' deck, or in the Solarium. I'm not really sure why there was a problem, we are not late risers, and have never found an issue on other ships of various sizes. Perhaps it was caused by families dumping towels and belongings on the sun beds, and then swanning off to other parts of the ship for a few hours - not the fault of the cruise line I know!
