We wanted to go to Cuba and we love to cruise so choose this itinerary and ship. Glad we did even though it seemed a bit pricey. The Royal excursion of a walk in Havana and the rum/coffee/cigar stop at the bar was particularly fun because the tour guide Javier was so open and informative. We went to both talks about Cuba conducted by a professor from Ohio University and enjoyed them. Chose an oceanview cabin on deck 3 and it worked out perfectly (aside from running into the swingdown beds stuck to the walls since the cabin is smaller than on most ships). The crew really works extra hard to make sure you are happy. Had one of the Windjammer chefs stop by to talk to us on Lido deck. Oh, and the coffee is the best on the seas...better than Carnival, Princess, MSC, Cunard. I like going out of Tampa due to smaller cost and ease of parking. Only smoke free casino around! The waiters even learned our names on a 4 day cruise. The shows in the theatre were top-notch.

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Small but well equipped. Well located to rear elevators. Has 2 swingdown beds on walls that restrict entering/exiting when king bed configured. Port side is less scenic side when docked in Havana.

Key West

We have been to Key West many times including driving vacations to there. Each time we seem to find something fun to do. This time the church on Duval had a free Zombie Chamber Music concert with performers doing classical guitar and others singing opera. It was fantastic. Starbucks has a good bathroom and wifi.
