We chose to stay in Miami a couple of nights before the cruise. Enjoyed seeing the city as we had never been there. We stayed at Homewood Suites Miami Airport Blue Lagoon utilizing their cruise package which provided shuttle to and from the port as well as allowing us to leave our car there for the duration of the cruise.

We arrived at the port at 10:45 am and were all checked in and waiting in line to board the ship by 11:30. There was already a long line waiting to check in when we arrived but it moved quickly..

The ship is beautiful, easy to find your way around. The shops on the ship are name brand merchandise (Michael Kors, Nautica, Vineyard Vines, etc) so everything is very pricey but very elegant. Everything was very clean including the restrooms.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 10

Cabin 10

We had an interior cabin which was very spacious although the storage space for clothes was not very convenient. There were 5 or 6 drawers (not very big) and the additional space to store your clothes was a cabinet above the bed which is not easy to get things in and out of unless you stand on the bed. The bathroom has a ton of storage space for all your toiletries. There are two sitting chairs in the room, one when you walk in and another in the corner as well as the chair in front of the mirror. It was in a very quiet location.

Room was very spacious and for as much time as we spent in it, it was perfect for us. Would definitely book this room again!
