My wife and I had a wonderful time on board Freedom of The Seas. The ship is very well managed and the crew is very helpful and attentive. We paid top dollar to be in this floating palace and I have to say that the first couple of days we were a bit disappointed with the food .The dinner food was not what we expected, less choices than other cruise lines and small portions and in then buffet we didn't even eat the food because it had no taste and we are not that picky normally.I expected more from a 5 star rated ship it was more like 4 star at best and the buffet was a 1. The food in Chops and Portofino was great, don't miss this dining experience, great food and great service. With that said back to the review. The entertainment was great on board when we got a chance to see some of it. The hogs on the high seas has there own agenda and it kept us busy during the day and evening. The shows and dancing reviews we did get to see were top notch, good energy and well done. The sports on board will never leave you wanting more, The flow-rider was a blast and the crew running it was very helpful with beginners. The ports of call were what I had expected, we had been to these ports many times before. Jamaica was a pleasant surprise considering they have cleared out most of the bad element around the port. Labadiee was OK, you needed to pay for every service provided by the RCI crew on shore,I guess that is the perk for owning that port. The tender service in to shore was also a bad cluster ----. The lines were long and not organized. The Grand Cayman stop was much better with the tender service. Our last stop was Cozumel, You have the typical people trying to get you into there shops , great time bargaining with them, also we had a hurricane at our back door and it rained all day, not hard just a nuisance. The party at Carlos and Charlies was going strong with the High Seas Rally, every one seem to have a great time. All in all the Ship is Great and we had a great time. The casino was also very generous to my wife, she just couldn't lose. RCI paid for this cruise courtesy of the casino and that doesn't happen often.

Cabin Review

We had an Aft balcony cabin on the port side. cabin 7708. very large balcony and great view, could see around the side of the ship. quiet location on the ship. the movement of the ship was felt a little more in the rear of the ship but we like that, it rocks us to sleep.
