I got an email for a $699 Jr Suite balcony on OCT 1st for an OCT 21 sailing. The price was for a guaranteed cabin. Later we were upgraded to an extended balcony, M424. We flew from PHX to LGA. The Hampton Inn LGA bus picked us up, we ordered pizza to the room, had Dial 7 car service take us to the port the next day, (40 minutes on Saturday). Very smooth travel to get to the ship. We had spent almost two weeks driving around Nova Scotia in 2016 and loved it. This time we rented a car and drove the back roads along the coast south of Halifax. The Hop On bus narrator in ST John was quite informative. The ship had lots of good options to keep busy until the last day. We thought they could have done better. The International Day was quite lame. It was advertised to be Octoberfest. Some passengers even dressed in German costume. There was a dance class in the Piazza but it must have taken too long and the band played very little. They missed the opportunity to have good Polka dance music! They also made the mistake with foreign musicians. If a British singer is really great, playing and singing American tunes -- it should not be some odd version changing the tempo! We called the reservation desk for a table in Symphony dining room for two, with two chairs each day. They have the individual tables with bench on one side and one chair. Too close to have a conversation with your dining partner Over all the ship is beautiful, the staff very friendly, the food good. We would do it again!

Cabin Review

Cabin M424
Great cabin! It had a bathtub and bathroom large enough to turn around in. There are drapes to close off the sofa from the bed area. Could be comfortable for a family. Too cold on the late OCT trip to Canada for much use of the balcony. There was a musty odor which was quickly remedied by closing the drains. We travel with battery votives or a pen light to leave in the bathroom at night. LOVED !! the cabin but maybe not worth the regular price.
