I chose this cruise as we wanted to visit Vietnam Hong Kong & Singapore. The cruise was a means to do this. I chose RCI to complete all aspects of our holiday and have regretted this. Believing they had worked all areas of our holiday to connect with each other, flights, hotels & cruise, I didn't question anything. Then to find when we got to the airport our flight had already departed while we were on our pre-booked overnight stay! We were left with no option but to pay extra for another flight. The fight is now on with them to take responsibilly for it, good luck with that I hear you cry!

Hong Kong was great, Park hotel is well placed for Kowloon if like us this is where you wish to be based. Cocktails in the Pennisula, lunch with free flow in Hutong, with views to die for. Stanley is scenic bus ride away. It was an easy taxi from airport HK$310, & HK$ 230 to cruise port.

Voyager is an okay cruise ship, smaller than some but perfectly serviceable. We had an inside cabin 7525, and we're very happy there. Everything we needed for a good stay with a comfortable bed, on 2 day sea journeys, we slept up to 10hours! Food was fine. Although I prefer to have service I found windjammer food tastier than Sapphire. In between the coffee shop provides sandwiches and cakes/coffee. Also Ben & Jerry Ice Cream stall.

Cabin N

As stated above, very happy with our cabin, though maybe a bit far from windjammer as opposite end. Mind you with all the eating , a long walk is a good idea!

Very quiet & bed very comfortable. Tea making facilities & fridge. Large telly and sofa. Plenty of wardrobe space for 2 even stored the suitcases in there.

Shower room was fine with shower door instead of curtain which is great.

Alberto, our cleaner worked hard and was always cheerful.

Having room service for breakfast was great on our early starts, good selection and very tasty.

Port Reviews

Kaohsiung

Excellent day. Beautiful temples. Taiwan very organised. Good wifi at port.

Nha Trang

More wonderful temples, Myson was great and a visit to town with a visit to embroidery shop.

Used offshore trips to catch some wifi, as $12 is ridiculous onboard.

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is wonderful, full on. Get out take bus, MTR & Star Ferry, all easy to do, & enjoy.

Hong Kong History Museum worth a visit

A brunch at Hutong with free flow, a highlight. The views over Victoria Harbour, spectacular.

Stanley another must, the bus journey is lovely.

Singapore

Great city. China Town, Little India, Garden on the Bay, Raffles all musts. The river walk to our hotel, Four Points By Sheraton was so relaxing. Great shopping for pressies.
