Wanted to see fall foiiage. Not disappointed. Especially pretty with a lot of color around Quebec City and Halifax, some in Sydney, hardly any in Charlottetown. Not enough time on tours to do any shopping. Really disappointed gift shops didn't carry any Quebec City t-shirts or caps.

Extremely disappointed in buffet food - practically same thing every night with night enough variety. Desserts were good (especially the cobblers). Breakfasts were by far the best meals. Moderno dining - beef was tough and tasteless; Tepanyaki - tasteless, not good; Le Bistro - had the filet mignon which was very tender; Cagney's ribeye - medium rare, tender enough but again, tasteless. Hated the fact that at the Garden Cafe buffet, most of the time you could not serve yourself and had to wait for them to serve you (not good during busy times). Didn't even bother going to either main dining room since it takes so long to get served and complete the meal.

Tepanyaki was the only restaurant with a photographer. The photo came with a pair of chopsticks and an unexpected $19.99 charge which was not advised of ahead of time (until he asked for our card)!

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Bathroom was fine and roomy enough; liked glass sliding shower door; plenty of electrical outlets, drawer/closet/shelf space; could still get get view out of obstructed (lifeboats) window; mattress and pillows comfortable. Hated that we could hear the man next door - his conversations and parties after midnight were very loud and kept us awake. Walls apparently very thin. We were on the 8th floor almost directly above a bar and could hear the loud music, but we knew to expect that. Still, it was annoying. Will know better next time.
