Outstanding service throughout the entire land and cruise. We had 7 days on land and then the 6 day cruise. The land accommodations were excellent at all premium hotels. The river cruise was fabulous. The ships are different and locally owned in China, but they were very nicely equipped. The food was excellent throughout - some authentic local and enough Western to satisfy most people. I felt that we packed more into this trip in a small timeframe over a huge Country than I imagined possible. This is not a relaxing cruise but more of a intensive exploration of the Country. Lot's a walking and long days make for a very rewarding experience. Viking staff and local staff were amazing. We had no language issues and really appreciated the local expertise. Entertainment is local or ship board crew and it was fun. Don't expect a Broadway show. I would highly recommend this tour and Viking to anybody interested in a full scale China visit.
