The section of the Danube we were on was very historic and beautiful. The tour tied in local cruisine and entertainment which was top notch. We spent an extra three days at the starting point in Budapest which I think is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Our tour director was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. Viking's customer service was absolutely outstanding with everything well planned and executed. Crew members were very friendly and helpful. The Viking busses that met us at each stop were very well maintained and the drivers were very professional. The excursion tour guides were very knowledgeable about their local areas and made the tours very interesting.

The boat was immaculant and you could see that the crew took pride in how well it was kept. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet and vibration free the boat was during cruising. Read more
